What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction, which also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the principle that “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being joyful and healthy.
The word Reiki is composed of two meanings: rei, which means universal spirit, and ki, which means energy.
People report many different sensations during Reiki. The most common reactions are relaxation, peace, sensations of energy, and heat coming from the practitioner’s hands. Clients can also experience a variety of emotions as stagnant energy is released. Grief, sadness, anger, joy are all normal feelings as the energy flows during a session. Images, visions, and memories sometimes surface as well. Your experience will be as unique as you are!
Reiki is a natural and safe method of spiritual healing that can be used by anyone. It works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects, promote recovery, and boost the immune system naturally.
The ability to use Reiki is taught but also transferred to the student during a Reiki class via an “attunement” given by a Reiki master where the gift is passed down and allows the student to tap into ki, “life force energy,” to improve the health and quality of life of those they encounter.
Services
1 Hour Restorative Reiki Session: $75
During this session you will receive a restorative Reiki treatment.
What is it like? You will be lying on a comfortable massage type table, fully clothed. Before beginning the session, I will ask if there are certain injuries or issues you might be having where you’d like the Reiki concentrated. If so, we can spend extra time on that area. There are 14 hand positions. You will need to turn over once, unless injury prevents it, in which case we will spend extra time concentrating the Reiki on the front of the body. Reiki can even be done in a chair if this works better for you.

Reiki Training
Reiki I $200
In this class, you will learn the history of Reiki, the guiding principles of this beautiful system, the hand positions so that you may begin healing yourself and others, and you will receive the official attunement and certificate at the end of class. This class is 2.5 hours.
Reiki ll $300
In second degree Reiki, you’ll learn the symbols associated with Reiki and be tested on them, therefore this class involves two 1.5-hour sessions. You’ll also learn the formula to send these symbols through time and space. This session ends with your next attunement and certificate.
Reiki lll Master Class $700
In the Reiki Master Class, you will learn how to teach Reiki to others. Because this level involves seven classes, we can plan the sessions to fit your schedule. Once completed, you will receive your last attunement and certificate.

1 Hour ThetaHealing Session: $75
What is it like? The session can be done virtual or in person. We will discuss goals as well as limiting belief patterns you’d like to change. We will go into a state of deep breathing with guided meditation. You will also receive an intuitive scan to help identify subconscious patterns; these could arise from decades old beliefs or even previous lifetimes. From here, we will work with these blocks to replace them with new, productive beliefs and feelings. This may lead to an emotional response as old patterns reach the surface and are released.
